- It is the intent of the National Library of Medicine to procure the items listed below as a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. Quotations are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. All items must be shipped in palletized shipment 2. All items may be shipped 2 weeks from the date of the award except the items specifically identified below: DSR & Monitor systems Delivered as follows: a. 10 Sets of Item 7788821 (DSR1020), 10 sets of 7788393 (DSR 2020), 20 Sets of Item 7787285 (Minicom) as soon as possible, no later than 4 weeks after the order. b. 10 Sets of Item 7788821 (DSR1020), 9 sets of 7788393 (DSR 2020), 19 Sets of Item 7787285 (Minicom) as soon as possible, 30 days after notice is given to ship each group. c. 16 Sets of Item 7788821 (DSR1020), 16 Sets of Item 7787285 (Minicom) as soon as possible, 30 days after notice is given to ship each group. d. The total order shall be delivered within 12 months of the initial order. Items delivered shall be new material. Reconditioned/Used Material is not acceptable. Provide FOB point (origin/destination). The following Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) provisions and clauses apply: 52.212-1 Instructions to Offerors-Commercial Items (September 2006). 52.212-3 Offeror Representations and Certifications-Commercial Items (November 2006). 52.212-4 Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial Items (September 2005). 52.212-5 Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders- Commercial Items (November 2006). Anticipated award date is no later than February 19, 2007. Closing date and time for receipt of offers is 12 Noon Eastern Time on February 14, 2007. PROPOSALS ARE TO REMAIN EFFECTIVE FOR 60 DAYS AFTER CLOSE OF SOLICITATION. Offers may be submitted on company letterhead stationery indicating the nomenclature; part number; unit price and extended price, FOB point; payment terms and any discount offered for prompt payment, the business size standard and any minority classification; delivery date, and Representation and Certifications contained in FAR Clause 52.212-3, including Alternate I. The proposed acquisition will be procured under FAR Part 12 - Acquisitions of Commercial Items. This is a Request for Quotations (RFQ) and no other document will be issued. Sources interested in responding to this notice must submit a response via mail within fifteen (15) calendar days from the publication date of this notice. NO ELECTRONIC RESPONSES WILL BE ACCEPTED.
