- Description
- The U.S. Maritime Administration has a requirement to perform a regulatory drydocking of the State University of New York's training vessel, the T/S STATE OF MAINE. The work involves, but is not limited to inspection and repair of sounding of tanks, ballast tank inspection, drydocking vessel, sea chests, sea valves, rudder, tailshaft, steel, propeller, blasting & coating hull, MSD repairs, piping repairs, navigation bridge window glass, anchor windlass hydraulic tank topside painting, anchor chain lockers, zinc anodes, cargo hatches, and AFFF system isolation valves. Work is to be accomplished during July 2007. A complete solicitation will be posted to this website on or about February 08, 2007. ATTENTION: Minority, Women-owned, and Disadvantaged Business Enterprises (DBEs)! The Department of Transportation (DOT), Short-Term Lending Program (STLP) offers working capital financing in the form of lines of credit to finance accounts receivable for transportation related contracts.
