- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. We have a requirement for 26 space convective heaters to heat modular tents approximately 30 X 60. Heater must be able to operate without the need of fixed AC electricity. Rating: 28 ,000 35,000 BTU. Rated air flow: 30 0 cfm. Electrical system: 10.5 15.2 volts, thermoelectric generator. Glow plug: 11.5 volts DC (starting only). Fuses 25 amp. Combustion air fan: 12 volt DC. Diesel fuel required, JP8. Heater must be on t he Defense Logistics Agency Family of Space Heaters (FOSH) approved list. Heater must be no more than 100 lbs. for easy movement and installation. Heater must be no more than 40 H X 18 L X 16 W for storage during extended periods when not used. Repair p arts must be readily available. This form should be filled out and accompany your proposal. The Proposal Summary is being used instead of FAR 52.212-3 Offeror Representations and Certifications Commercial Items. Award will be made to a single offeror. This requirement is being solicited on an unrestricted basis. The applicable NAICS code is 333414 with a small business size standard of 500 employees. The contract type will be fixed price. Quotes will be evaluated on price-related factors and ability to meet the specifications of the syno psis solicitation. If you are selected, you must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) (http://www.ccr.gov/) in order to receive the award. If you are not in the CCR at the time we are ready to make the award, you will be disqualifi ed. Payment will be made by Government Credit Card.
