Description

The Overseas Private Investment Corporation (OPIC) is a self-sustaining U.S. government agency that assists U.S. private investment in more than 150 emerging market economies and developing countries through four principal activities: project finance, political risk insurance, private equity investment funds and outreach activities.OPIC - assisted projects are required to uphold important American values as they pertain to human rights, workers rights, the environment, and the impact on the U.S. economy. Over the agency's 35-year history, OPIC has supported $138 billion invested in 3,000 projects, generating more than $10 billion in host-government revenues and nearly 668,000 host-country jobs.OPIC projects have also generated $63.6 billion in U.S. exports and created nearly 250,000 American jobs. OPIC is seeking a Contractor with a broad range of experience to assist OPIC in preparing Africa Call-for-Proposals. The effort would include but not be limited to; reviewing and evaluating proposals, preparing written due diligence reports and performing in-depth quantitative analysis of each finalists investment track record, analyzing key portfolio company results including a critique of the management investment strategy, reviewing and evaluating the proposed management team and organization, their investment process, capabilities, and proposed structure and terms, reviewing references of each finalist, and making recommendations for award.
