THIS IS A PRESOLICITATION NOTICE ONLY. THIS IS NOT A SOLICITATION OR REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL (RFP). THE RFP (HSCG38-06-R-610007) IS EXPECTED TO BE AVAILABLE AT http://www.uscg.mil/hq/arsc/contracting/hc130j/c-130J.htm AFTER THE CLOSING DATE OF THIS NOTICE. PROPOSALS ARE NOT BEING SOLICITED OR ACCEPTED AT THIS TIME. CONTRACTORS SHOULD FOLLOW THE INSTRUCTIONS BELOW. In accordance with FAR 6.302-1, the U.S. Coast Guard intends to solicit, negotiate, and issue a firm fixed price contract on a sole source basis with Rolls Royce. Rolls Royce is the original equipment manufacturer (OEM) for this requirement. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Offerors shall be able to provide necessary certifications including trace ability to the OEM to ensure parts are in airworthy condition, suitable for installation on an U.S. Coast Guard aircraft. The requirement consists of numerous aircraft components / spare parts of various part numbers and quantities to be utilized on the C130J Coast Guard aircraft. The draft list of required line items is available and can be obtained at http://www.uscg.mil/hq/arsc/contracting/hc130j/c-130J.htm The Coast Guard does not own nor can it obtain specifications, drawings, plans or other technical data for Manufacturing. The applicable North American Industry Classification Standard Code is 336413 and the small business size standard is 1,000 employees. This is procurement is unrestricted. The contract will be awarded as a Firm Fixed Price. Delivery is desired within 180 days. FOB Destination is requested.
