- This is a combined synopsis and solicitation for the following commercial items:</p> 0001-Maintenance, Structurally modify and temporarily support an EC/KC-135 at Sheppard AFB, TX for the purpose of converting the aircraft structure into a working trainer for the medical readiness squadron. IAW Statement of Work </p> FOB: Destination for delivery to Sheppard AFB TX 76311</p> This synopsis and solicitation is prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The evaluation factor for award is the submitted technical plan and price.(See the statement of work for more information on technical plan). Once the technical plans have been evaluated, price will be considered. The disclosure of magnitude for this acquisition is between $25,000 and $100,000. This solicitation is issued as a request for quote (RFQ). Submit written offers (oral offers will not be accepted), on RFQ F3V5L16342A100. This procurement is being issued as 100% SMALL BUSINESS SET-ASIDE. North American Industrial Classification Standard 488119, Size Standard, $6M, applies to this procurement. IAW FAR 252.204-7004, all firms or individuals responding must be registered with the Central Contractor Registration (CCR). CCR</p> FAR 52.237-1, Site Visit As prescribed in 37.110(a), insert the following provision: Site Visit (Apr 1984) Offerors or quoters are urged and expected to inspect the site where services are to be performed and to satisfy themselves regarding all general and local conditions that may affect the cost of contract performance, to the extent that the information is reasonably obtainable. In no event shall failure to inspect the site constitute grounds for a claim after contract award.
