Description
The Aircraft Structures Commodity Council at Robins AFB, GA is pleased to announce a strategic enterprise-wide long term strategy for Bonded Aircraft Structures in Federal Stock Class 1560. Our intent is to consolidate individual competitive tactical buys into multiple award Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (ID/IQ) firm fixed price contracts for a 10 year period. IF YOU HAVE PREVIOUSLY FURNISHED A BONDED PART TO THE GOVERNMENT IN FEDERAL STOCK CLASS 1560, YOU WILL NEED TO READ THIS NOTICE CAREFULLY TO DETERMINE IF YOUR ITEMS ARE INCLUDED. This strategy is divided into items for a small business set aside and items for a full and open competition. THIS NOTICE IS FOR THE SMALL BUSINESS SET ASIDE. Items applicable to this action are listed on the attachment and are set aside for small business participation only. The government reserves the right to add items to this list at a later date, however, those items will be published as an addendum to this synopsis in FedBizOpps. The estimated value of this contract action is $40 million with a three year basic ordering period with 2 three-year options and 1 one-year option. FAR 15 procedures apply. The purpose of this strategy is to include all bonded structures stock numbers so that administrative lead time may be minimized. Stock numbers that apply to this strategy are listed on the attachment, however, the tab labeled ?00? are items for which the government may or may not own the reprocurement data. These items are included as future potential requirements. If a requirement generates for any NSN on the ?00? list, it will be determined at that time if the item is competitive (government owns the technical data package). If so, it will be competed, priced and placed on the contract at that time. Delivery will be established for each line item on applicable delivery orders when competition is conducted. A draft RFP will be issued prior to the final RFP and a pre-proposal conference will be held after the draft RFP is issued. Date and location of the conference will be specified at a later date through synopsis in FedBizOpps or you may contact the buyer by e-mail (Denise.Pollard@robins.af.mil) or phone (478-327-3633) to be put on a mailing list for updates. Solicitation will be available for viewing or downloading from www.FedBizOpps.gov website only after the required waiting time. Technical data packages will be available through https://www.fedteds.gov. Other announcements regarding this solicitation will be posted to FedBizOpps. Applicable Notes: 1, 8, 9, 26
