- The 10th Mission Support Group, Directorate of Contracting, United States Air Force Academy Colorado, is hereby issuing a Notice of Intends to award a Sole Source/Brand Name commercial purchase order to Steris Corporation in providing Reliance Synergy washer/dryers sterilizer systems, to include but not limited to operational training, parts, labor, preventive maintenance, inspections, and repair service. 2 Washers are offered as trade-in as part of a discounted for the replacements all inclusive procurement. Reference FA7000-07-F-0090 for Description: CLIN 0001; 2 EA., Reliance Synergy Washer/Disinfector 208V, 3PH, 4 Wire, 60HZ-Steam, P/N: FH03072 Single chamber washer/disinfector to includes power double doors, pulsed enzyme treatment, vented system w/drying, lubricant w/pure water rinse, five detergent pumps w/50' extension tubes & to utility connection. Decontamination equipment - Washer/Dryer, Steam Heat, 208 Volts, 60HZ, 3 Phase, 4-Wire: 2 EA., Trade in washers/disinfectors in exchanges for 2 new washers/disinfectors. CLIN 0002; 2 EA., Drain discharge cool down, P/N: FD67300. CLIN 0003; 2 EA., Fast cycles for instruments & utensils (with field installation) FD02300. CLIN 0004; 2 EA., Condensate Return cool-down; FD67400. CLIN 0005; 2 EA., NON-VENTED for Synergy Washer; FD000021. CLIN 0006; 2 EA., Dual Pre Filter & Pressure Regulator ASSY; MB000067. CLIN 0007; 2 EA., Installation Synergy Washer, includes all necessary assembly, installation and re-erect of STERIS equipment; P/N: SE101502 . CLIN 0008; 2 EA., Install Fast cycle kit (only if Steris Corporation Installs equipment to maintain warranty) and calibrate STERIS equipment; P/N SE0000002. CLIN 0009; 2 EA., Remove Synergy Washer; P/N SE1015021. The Government has determined the use of Steris Corporation, Reliance Synergy Washer/Disinfector is required to meet the governments need for sterilization and infection control. The determination to use Reliance Synergy Washer/Disinfector for medical instruments and utensils was made by the United States Air Force Academy, 10th Medical Group, medical/surgical staff. Interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to this requirement by 4:30PM Mountain Standard Time, 07 Feb 2007. This procurement is being conducted under the authority of FAR 13.5 and FAR Parts 12 and 13. The authority cited and justification made is based on the determination that the Government's minimum needs can best be satisfied by services available from one source. No solicitation will be made available and all information shall be furnished at no cost or obligation to the Government.
