- ACA Northern Region, Directorate of Contracting, Fort Lewis, Washington is soliciting proposals for a contractor to provide personnel, management, labor, materials, equipment and other items and services not Government furnished to furnish and instal l Category 5 and/or Category 5e computer network drops with associated communication closet patch cable, information outlets, and equipment patch cables to augment the existing equipment racks, patch panels, and cable trays at Madigan Army Medical Center ( MAMC) Tacoma, WA. The contractor shall comply with the latest revisions of all governing codes and standards of industry and MAMC Facilities Management Division. The solicitation will result in the award to a single contractor of a requirements contract. The anticipated period of performance is from 1 April 2007 to 31 March 2008 for a base year plus four one-year option periods. This procurement is 100% small business set-aside. The Request for Proposal (RFP) number is W911S8-07-R-0010. The applicable NAICS code is 238210 and the small business size standard is $13.m. Telephonic requests for the solicitation will not be honored. When issued, the solicitation will be available via the Fed Biz Opps website, http://www.fbo.gov/ and the Army Single Face to Industry (AFSI) website, https://acquisition.army.mil/asfi. The solicitation will also be posted on the Fort Lewis Directorate of Contracting website, http://www.lewis.army.mil/doc/, under Solicitations. The tentative solicitation issue date is 19 Feb ruary 2007 and the anticipated closing date is 5 March 2007. Interested offerors are advised to consult the actual solicitation for final dates and times. A pre-proposal conference is tentatively scheduled for 26 February 2007 at 10:00:00 AM PST.
