Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for the purchase of commercial items, prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only so licitation. Quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation number W9127N-07-Q-0042 is applicable and is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). The solicitation and incorporated provisions and clauses are those i n effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-13. This requirement is a 100 percent Small Business Set Aside with a NAICS Code of 423830, and a size standard of 100 employees. CLIN 0001 Electrical Wire Rope Hoist Qty 1 EA; This solicitation is for a SHAW-BOX (LIFT TECH INTERNATIONAL) MODEL #73H15-038S13-2. FAR Clause 52.211-6, Brand Name or Equal, is applicable. If quoting an equivalent item, please email the description with specifications of the item you are quoting. The Contracting Officer wil l evaluate equal products on the basis of information furnished by the quoter or identified in the quote and reasonably available to the Contracting Officer. The Contracting Officer is not responsible for locating or obtaining any information not identifie d in the quote. Unless the quoter clearly indicates in its quote that the product being offered is an equal product, the quoter shall provide the brand name product referenced in the solicitation. The minimum salient characteristics are: 15 Ton capacity , Hand Geared Trolley, 38-ft Lift, 2 Speed Lift 13/4.3 FPM, 30-ft PENDANT, 460V/3PH/60HZ. Vendor/Supplier must respond to John Day Dam, within two hours of receipt of call for any warranty service. Vendor must have a factory-approved, fully qualified repa ir facility. Delivery Terms. The product will be delivered to the John Day Dam Project 10 weeks from the Purchase Order Award Date. Delivery shall be during normal working hours (Monday-Thursday, 0700-1600hrs), and shall be coordinated with David Mackin tosh, (541) 296-1181. Acceptance will be at the destination. FOB point is destination. FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors-Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition. FAR Clause 52.212-2 Evaluation-Commercial Items applies to this acquisition. The selection resulting from this request for quotations will be made on the basis of the lowest priced, technically acceptable quote from a responsible quoter. A technically acceptable quote must meet the min. salient characteristics mentioned above for CLIN 0001. Quoters are to indicate if they have completed ORCA (Online Representations and Certifications Application) registration, if not they are required to submit completed copies of the provisions at FAR 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certif ications-Commercial Items; FAR clause 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition and does not include any addenda. FAR clause 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Or ders, Commercial Items (APR 2004) (DEVIATION), and DFARS 252.212-7001, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders Applicable to Defense Acquisitions of Commercial Items (SEP 2006)(Deviation) applies to this acquisition .
