Description

The Seattle District U.S. Army Corps of Engineers currently has a competitive requirement for a Multiple Award Task Order Contract (MAT OC) to support Fort Lewis Public Works, its sub-installations and other customers supported by the Seattle District U.S. Army Corps of Engineers. Up to five (5) construction contractors will be selected for this contract. The MATOC will consist of a thre e-year base period with a shared capacity among all awarded contractors of not-to-exceed (NTE) $30M as well as a two-year optional period with a shared capacity among all awarded contractors of NTE $20M. The total shared capacity of base plus all potentia l options shall not exceed $50M. The task orders anticipated for this contract will be for non-Army Transformation projects in support of the Fort Lewis Directorate of Public Works (DPW), its sub-installations (such as Yakima Training Center), and other c ustomers supported by the Seattle District U.S. Army Corps of Engineers. This type of procurement (MATOC) is expected to help minimize design effort and related overhead expenditures and handle compressed delivery schedules. The task orders will range fr om $100 Thousand to $5M per task order and will be for projects of varying size and complexity. Task orders will include multi-disciplinary maintenance and repair and minor construction work and will include a variety of trades such as carpentry, road rep air, roofing, excavation, interior/exterior elements, mechanical, electrical, steam welding, asbestos and lead paint abatement incidental to construction and/or project design. The MATOC will not be used for AE services; however, incidental AE services ma y be needed for some projects. The NAICS code for this project is 236220 with a small business size standard of $31M. This procurement will be a Request for Proposal (RFP) and a firm-fixed-price contract will be negotiated as a result of this procurement . As previously stated, up to five (5) construction contractors will be selected for award. The solicitation for this project will be issued in electronic format only and will be available for download on the FedTeDS website at https://www.fedteds.gov on or about 20 March 2007.
