Description
THE PURPOSE OF THIS AMENDMENT IS TO CORRECT THE DESCRIPTION TO READ: TWO TIME AND MATERIAL (T&M) TYPE PURCHASE ORDERS ARE CONTEMPLATED FOR 180 DAYS (ONE PURCHASE ORDER FOR THE ARMY SPECIAL OPERATIONS AIRCRAFT (ARSOA) MH-47 AND MH-60 AND ONE PURCHASE ORDER FOR THE AIR FORCE SPECIAL OPERATIONS COMMAND (AFSOC) CV-22.) The Government has a need for Contractor Logistics Support (CLS) for the Suite of Integrated Radio Frequency Countermeasures (SIRFC) used within the U. S. Army Special Operations Command (USASOC) for the Army Special Operations Aircraft (ARSOA) MH-47 and MH-60; and the Air Force Special Operations Command (AFSOC) CV-22. Logistic support consists of a contractor depot for repair of SIRFC, ALQ-136, and all associated equipment, field service support representative (FSR), interim software support, configuration management, administration, depot parts, and Aviation Unit Level Maintenance (AVUM)/Organizational level (O-level) maintenance spares. A Time and Material (T&M) type purchase order is contemplated for 180 days. The Defense Priorities and Allocations System (DPAS) assigned rating is DO-A1. The intended source of supply/service is ITT Corporation, Electronic Warfare Systems, 77 River Rd., Clifton, NJ, 07014. Authority and Justification is 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1), FAR 6.302-1, ?Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements?. Specifications, plans, or drawings relating to this procurement are not available and cannot be furnished. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability and respond to this requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals.
