- Battelle Memorial Institute (Battelle) in connection with Battelle?s Operation and Maintenance of the U.S. Department of Energy?s Pacific Northwest National Laboratory at Richland, Washington under contract no. DE-AC05-76RL01830 intends to solicit construction services to modify rooms 1541 and 1545 in the William R. Wiley Environmental Molecular Sciences Laboratory. Room 1541 will remain operational for the duration of the project. The work includes the selective demolition of walls, flooring, refrigeration, piping, HVAC and electrical systems. New construction includes installation of walls, flooring, suspended acoustical tile ceiling, doors, fire protection, HVAC, lab service piping, lighting and electrical. Work is expected to be completed on or around May 9, 2007. This solicitation is 100% set-aside for small business firms.
