- Maintenance and Logistic Command, Pacific is looking for certified Small Business firms that may be interested in and have the capabilities to perform the DOCKSIDE REPAIRS of USCGC MIDGETT (WHEC 726), a 378? High Endurance Cutter, homeported in Seattle, Washington. All work shall be performed at the cutter pier side during the period of 19 June 2007 to 10 August 2007. Invitation for Bid will be issued on or about 20 February 2007 with a closing date of 22 March 2007. Bidders are advised that the solicitation, specification and other notifications can also be accessed on the web at: www.eps.gov. Work items will include: production control, Gantt bar chart provide; boiler exhaust stack uptakes clean; main diesel engine exhaust stack uptakes commercial clean; SSDG exhaust stack uptakes commercial clean; SSDG vibration mount renewal; vent ducts (engine and motor rooms) commercial cleaning; vent ducts (galley and pantry) commercial cleaning; boiler renewal; firemain valve (>=2.5 inches) inspection and overhaul; firemain valves (< 2.5 inches) renewal; steam isolation valve overhaul (2-1/2 inches and greater); single point davit (gen) level 2 inspect & test; grey water holding tank(s) clean & inspect; sewage holding tank clean & inspect; sewage vacuum collection and seal-water tanks clean and inspect; sewage piping clean and inspect; temporary services, dockside, home pier; tanks (mp fuel stowage and overflow) clean and inspect; tanks (aviation fuel service) clean and inspect; turbine exhaust stack uptakes commercial clean; decks exterior preserve; tanks (sewage and gray water) preserve. The Total Small Business Set-Aside f firm must meet the requirements per the FAR 52.219-14. The NAICS code assigned to this procurement will be 336611 with a size standard of less than 1,000 employees.
