- Description
- The contractor is to provide engineering services that provide an experienced software development environment to generate or cause to generate the changes identified by the government into the ALR-69A(V) system baselines for the C-130 and F-16 aircraft. This will consist of changes to the OFP, DSPP, and MDFG, as well as supporting documentation while the program completes SDD and government DT/OT&E. The services required are to update and validate the performance of all software and firmware items used in the system, along with the tools used in the software engineering environment and the management of mission data files used to operate, maintain and test the ALR-69A(V) system. These changes will be documented through technical studies and work packages. The contactor, ten days after contract tasking, will document the work to be performed and maintain a monthly status of schedule, cost and performance. It is envisioned that the initial period of performance will be for 12 months with subsequent periods added until a full rate production decision is made and FCA/PCA is closed. The proposed contract action is for supplies and/or services for which the Govt intends to restrict competition to the qualified source only, Raytheon Goleta CA. Authority: 10 USC 2304(c)(1). Interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement. This notice of intent is NOT a request for competitive proposals. A determination by the Govt not to compete this proposed action based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a future competitive procurement. All potential offerors should contact the buyer/PCO below for additional information.
