Description

Anniston Army Depot (ANAD) is seeking companies who can provide a rugged tablet personal computer. Must be able to work in harsh industrial shop environments and interface with current computer hardware. Must operate as a wireless device meeting 802. 11 a/b/g wireless LAN (Wi-Fi) integration. Must meet the minimum technical specifications: 1.1 GHz processor speed, 1GB standard memory, minimum of 60GB hard drive storage, Memory free Lithium-Ion battery main batter pack with minimum of 4 hours of operat ion without recharging. Weigh no more than five (5) pounds. Minimum 8 inch SVGA display. Contains USB 2.0 and Ethernet 10/100 ports. Required Operating System (OS) is Windows XP Tablet PC or Windows XP Professional (as an option). Equipped for Docking Stat ion I/O interfaces. Docking Station with keyboard as an optional feature (include literature). Interested companies are requested to provide brochures, literature, published price lists, and descriptions of the commercial product not later than 15 calenda r days after synopsis appears.
