Description

DESC: 5180-01-462-7469, Part Number 5-15-20002, The item to procure is a CBR Maintenance Kit, CBR Equipment consists of (5) Test Paddle Unit Pack Assy, (5) plastic bags (interlocking sea closure) Type II, Style 3, Size 3 x 4 x .004 inch and (1) barri er bag. Barrier Bag is Source Controlled to Georgia Packaging, P/N: Foil Pack #6. The Test Paddle Assy (D/N-C5-15-8074-2) is molded from 66 Nylon, PA0181, Per ASYM D 4066 and includes an inset molded from Polypropylene PP011 E01 Per ASTM D 4101, color Na tural. The assembled part is 2.53 in x 1.255 in x 0.196 in. This will result in a 5-Year Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) Contract. The minimum guaranteed qty is 491. First Article Test is Required. FOB shall be Destination. This sol icitation incorporates a Technical Data Package (TDP) that cannot be provided via the internet. Vendors who need this TDP in order to prepare a bid or proposal are instructed to request same by submission of an email request to: tacom-ri-tdp@ria.army.mil . Any said requests should contain the following information; CAGE Code (if available), Company Name, Point of Contact (optional), Street Address, City, State, Zip Code, Telephone Number. A TDP will be provided by normal mail after the solicitation has been released to the internet. The approximate issue date for this solicitation is 20 Feb 2007. This solicitation will be issued electronically in accordance with FAR 4.502 and 5.102, therefore, hardcopies will not be provided. Vendors wishing an electro nic copy may download it on or after the issue date by accessing the following address via the internet: https://aais.ria.army.mil/aais/SOLINFO/index.htm. CAUTION: This solicitation will be issued electronically as will any amendments thereto. Because of this, the Government is under no obligation and is in fact unable to maintain a bidders mailing list. It is therefore incumbent upon any interested parties to periodically access the above internet address in order to obtain any amendments which may be i ssued. Failure to obtain any said amendments and to respond to them prior to the date and time set for bid opening/receipt of proposals may render your bid or proposal nonresponsive and result in the rejection of same.
