Description

Mowing Services at Tuttle Creek Project Office, Manhattan, Kansas has a requirement for Mowing Services. This procurement is a Lowest price technically acceptable, Request for Quotes (RFQ) for Commercial Item/Services and is totally set-aside for sma ll business concerns. This solicitation contains a base period plus four option periods. The Contractor shall provide all manpower, equipment, tools, supervision and other items and services necessary to provide Mowing Services for the U. S. Army Corps o f Engineers, Tuttle Creek Project, as described in the performance of work statement. This solicitation contains a base period plus four option periods. The base year period of performance runs from 01 May 2007 to 30 September 2007. The period of performan ce for Option period 1 runs from 01 OCT 2007 to 30 September 2008. The period of performance for option period 2 runs from 01 OCT 2008 to 30 September 2009. The period of performance for option period 3 runs from 01 OCT 2009 to 30 September 2010. The perio d of performance for option period 4 runs from 01 OCT 2010 to 30 September 2011. The government will award a contract from this request for quotes to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation will be most advantageous to the govern ment, price, experience and past performance considered. For evaluation purposes price, experience and past performance will all be weighted the same. The standard industrial code is S208. The NAICS code is 561730. All responsible sources may submit an off er, which will be considered by this agency. The Solicitation package shall be available and posted on or about February 12, 2007. OFFEROR REPRESENTATIONS AND CERTIFICATIONS: Prior to quoting, vendors must complete online the Representations and Certifications. To do so requires CCR Registration, including an MPIN number. Instructions may be obtained, and required information may be e ntered, at http://orca.bpn.gov. One must register on the Kansas City District web site in order to receive any quotations. By visiting the following web site, you may download the solicitation. The web address is https://acquisition.army.mil. Bids are due February 22, 2007 no later than 3:00 pm (central standard time). REQUIRED CCR REGISTRATION: Prior to quoting, vendors must be actively registered in the Central Contract Registration (CCR) system, including creation of an MPIN number. Registration instruc tions may be obtained, and online registration may be accomplished, at www.ccr.gov. By submission of a quote, a quoter acknowledges the requirement to be registered in the CCR database prior to award; during performance; and through final payment of any co ntract resulting from the solicitation. Refer to CCR clause (either 252.204-7004 or 52.204-7) Also, Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) requires offerors to provide representations and certifications electronically via the BPN website at https:/www.bpn.go v/ocra/vendor as a prerequisite to receiving solicitation, to update the representations and certifications as necessary, but a least annually, to keep them current, accurate and complete, and to make changes that affect only one soli citation by completin g the appropriate sections of either paragraph (j) of FAR provision 52.212-3 or FAR provision 52.204-8, whichever is included in the solicitation.
