- Description
- This is a Request for Quote (RFQ) to furnish all labor materials and equipment and perform all operations necessary to furnish Plastic Rub Fenders. Synthetic fenders shall be ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene (UHMW-PE) and yellow in color. T he UHMW-PE shall be manufactured with a maximum of fifty (50) percent regenerated material and with a molecular weight of 3,000,000 to 5,000,000 in accordance with ASTM-D4020, compression m9olded, stress relieved and including an ultraviolet stabilizer. T he rubber backers shall be compounded of natural or synthetic polyisoprene or a blend of both and shall contain reinforcing carbon black, zinc oxide, accelerators, antioxidants, vulcanizing agents and plasticizers. All work is to be completed in accordanc e with the Specifications included in the RFQ, referenced drawing, Industry Standards and any and all applicable codes, regulations and ordinances. Delivery shall be made tot the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Louisville Repair Station, Physical Support Br anch, 2605 Shippingport Drive, Louisville, KY 40212-1010. Delivery shall be accomplished by April 15, 2007. NOTE: THIS RFQ IS 100% SET ASIDE FOR SMALL BUSINESS. The NAICS code for this procurement is: 326130. The size standard is 500 employees. Deliver y shall be F.O.B. Destination. This RFQ will be available by downloading from the Internet only. There are NO hard copies mailed. Project files are Portable Document Format (PDF) files and can be viewed, navigated or printed using Adobe Acrobat Reader. To download the RFQ for this project, contractors are required to register at the Federal Technical Data Solutions (FedTeds) website at http://www.fedteds.gov. Downloads are available only through the FedTeds website. The estimated price range is betwee n $500,000.00 and $1,000,000.00.
