Description
Industry Day Automation, Robotics & Simulation Division (AR&SD) Simulation & Software Technology NASA/JSC will hold an Automation, Robotics & Simulation Division (AR&SD) Simulation & Software Technology Industry Day on Monday, February 12, 2007 at the Gilruth Center at NASA Johnson Space Center. The event will be held in the Alamo Ballroom on the first floor between 9:00 AM ? 11:00 AM. Goals The goals of the Industry Day are to: 1. Promote competition on the proposed Automation, Robotics & Simulation Division (AR&SD) Simulation & Software Technology acquisition. 2. Develop Industry understanding of the Government?s current vision and objectives pertaining to the current contract. 3. Allow NASA/JSC to utilize Industry input to improve the AR&SD Simulation & Software acquisition strategy. Sign-Up Requirements Prospective offerors are requested to RSVP by close of business on February 9, 2007 by e-mail to Robert Kolb at robert.kolb-1@nasa.gov. Prospective offerors are limited to four attendees per company. The RSVP request shall include the names, titles of attendees, point of contact (with the company you represent), point of contact?s phone number and point of contact?s e-mail address. Questions and Answers for Industry Day This Industry Day will focus on understanding of the Government?s current vision and objectives pertaining to the current contract at NASA/JSC. A question and answer period will follow at the end of the presentation. Oral questions may be answered, but keep in mind that this event is an open exchange with industry and no answers given will be considered official. A draft Request for Proposal (RFP) is planned to be released. After the draft RFP is released NASA/JSC will hold a pre-proposal conference, which will allow Industry to ask questions specific to the draft RFP. Industry will then be solicited to submit questions in writing so that the Government may officially respond. No questions will be considered or answered concerning the follow-on procurement.
