- Functional Description. Request the purchase of consolidated maintenance on previously procured Cognos software licenses supporting DFAS Business Intelligence initiatives. The consolidate maintenance should also include alliance support which provides quick response to maintenance issues supporting the mission critical applications built using the licensed software. The software is currently in production supporting DFAS Performance Management Program MyMetrics, the DFAS Executive Dashboard and the Monthly and Quarterly Congressional Reporting on Contingency Operations and the Global War on Terrorism. Renewal of the maintenance is critical to avoid application failure as new releases of database, operating system and server environments evolve. Without maintenance we would not be on distribution for the software upgrades required to maintain stability of the applications as the hardware and software environments are undated. The list of specific licenses are listed. Request software long term and would expect annual renewal. Request a base year with 3 option years. The period of performance is from the respective current maintenance expiration to November 29, 2007 for each set of licenses.
