Description

This requirement is being procured in accordance with FAR Part 36, Construction and Architect-Engineer Contracts, and award will be made in accordance with FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures. The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service is issuing a Request for Quotes (RFQ) to complete construction of a ramp and elevated walkway at the Big Sandy Unit of the Tennessee National Wildlife Refuge. The site is accessible from U.S. Route 641 and north of Big Sandy, Tennessee .The project also includes site work such as installing concrete sidewalk and development of a gravel parking lot and entrance drive. This is not a Small Business Set-Aside in accordance with the latest quarterly adjustment under the Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program. The NAICS Code is 237990 and the size standard is $31 Million. The estimated price range is between $25,000 and $100,000. The tentative date for issuance of Request for Quotes is 02/08/07 with a closing date of 03/01/07. A firm fixed price purchase order will be issued with a performance period of 120 days from the Notice to Proceed. The RFQ documents will be available electronically on the Federal Business Opportunities Web Site at http://fedbizopps.gov under RFQ 401816Q260. Paper copies will not be available. Once the solicitation is posted it is incumbent upon the interested parties to review this site for any updates/amendments. Note: Registration with the Fish and Wildlife Service for Electronic Commerce (EC) at the National Business Center (NBC) Web Site will also be required. Prospective offerors must be registered in the Central Contract Registration (http://www.ccr.gov) and complete the Online Representations and Certification Application (ORCA) at http://www.bpn.gov in order to be eligible for award. CCR registration requires applicants to have a DUNS number which can be obtained free of charge from Dun and Bradstreet at (800)333-0505.
