- This is not a request for proposals/quotes. This synopsis is for information and planning purposes only and is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government. This is not a solicitation announcement for proposals/quotes and no contract/order will be awarded from this announcement. The Bureau of Engraving and Printing is seeking information on sources that can provide preventative maintenance and emergency repair for the following Charmilles and BostoMatic EDM equipment at our Washington, D.C. facility: Charmilles Robofil 2030 SI (Wire Machine; Year made 2001), Charmilles Roboform 84 (Sinker Machine; Year made 2001), Bostomatic BD12G (CNC High Speed Mill; Year made 2001), Castex Hole Popper (Year made 2002), and Fobo Laser (Year made 2002). The Bureau requires OEM level preventative maintenance on at least a quarterly basis. Emergency repairs must be OEM level and onsite response time must be within 24 hours after receipt of a request for emergency repairs. The equipment listed above is located at the Bureau of Engraving and Printing?s Washington, D.C. facility. This sources sought notice is to help the Bureau of Engraving and Printing in determining potential sources only. All firms responding to this sources sought notice are advised that their response to this notice is not a request to be considered for a contract/purchase order award. All interested parties must respond to that solicitation announcement separately from the responses to this announcement. Responses to this sources sought synopsis are NOT a request to be added to a prospective offerors list or to receive a copy of any contemplated RFP or RFQ. Reimbursement will not be made for any costs associated with providing information in response to this announcement and any follow-up information request(s). For the purposes of Small Businesses, the NAICS Code is 811310 and the Size Standard is $6.5 million in annual receipts. Your response must include the following information: Size of company (i.e. 8(a), HubZone, WOSB, SB, Veteran), relevant past performance on same (equipment) work dating back 3 years and your company's capability to perform this type of work.
