Description
The NATO Consultation, Command and Control Agency (NC3A) invites U.S. firms to participate in a market survey to support the Bi-Strategic Commands Automated Information System Program Management and Integration Capability (Bi-SC AIS PMIC). The market survey has been specially designed to collect relevant information about current industry trends regarding the design and implementation of program management and integration capabilities for software-intensive programs. The information received will be used by NC3A for the development of the Request For Bidders Views (RFBV) and subsequent Invitation for Bids (IFB) for the implementation of a Bi-SC AIS PMIC. NC3A will guarantee the protection of confidential information submitted by participants. Another objective of this initiative is to gauge industry interest in taking part in the RFBV and IFB processes. NC3A intends to release the RFBV in April 2007 and the IFB four months later. This notice is NOT a Notification of Intent to Call for Bids. Furthermore, any prospective participant who declines to respond to this market survey will not be prevented from taking part in the RFBV process or from submitting an offer during the formal IFB process. Participating in this survey entails 1) Responding to a questionnaire that requests specific industry input on the potential strategies and commercial solutions relevant for the implementation of a Bi-SC AIS PMIC and 2) Participating in a one-day workshop on the same subject that will be held on 22 March 2007 at the Bedford Hotel in Brussels. Submission of a complete survey questionnaire is a prerequisite for participation in the workshop. For an administrative package that provides the necessary information and instructions for those firms that may be interested in participating in the survey, please send an email request to Lcarpent@bis.doc.gov Interested firms may also download market survey documentation from the Internet or access the on-line registration service that will be activated during the registration period through the URL below: http://rsvpregister.com/event.php?491974 The Point of Contact for questions and information concerning this market survey is Mr. Javier Carrasco: Tel: +32 2 707 8214 E-mail: javier.carrasco@nc3a.nato.int Please note that in accordance with its new electronic mailing policy, NC3A will rely exclusively on electronic mail communication to manage any correspondence related to this initiative.
