Description

The above referenced solicitation is hereby amended to answer technical questions: Question 1. Is the requirement for a new, used or refurbished unit? Answer 1. The requirement is for a new unit. Question 2. Does the unit have to be UL listed? Answer 2. No. Question 3. Is ASME Code Stamping for both the pressure vessel (U-1) and generator required? Answer 3. Must have for the pressure vessel. Question 4. Will the generator require a CSD-12 Pressure Switch? Answer 4. Yes. Question 5. What side of the door are the hinges to be on? Answer 5. The left side. Question 6. Self Contained Generator-What are the amount of volts? Answer 6. Can be 110 of 220V. Question 7. Self Contained Generator-Is the automatic generator blow down to remove water hardness from the steam generator required? Answer 7. No. Question 8. Will the unit fall under State of Maryland new Boiler inspection requirements? Answer 8. Unsure, if fall under state requirements. Question 9. Will the Self Contained Electric Steam Generator require an automatic water fill and low water cutoff protection? Answer 9. Yes Question 10. Is there a preference of what side the units should be piped for servicing? Answer 10. Right Side Question 11. Will installing, testing and demonstration of the sterilizer be required? Answer 11. Yes, as stated on the solicitation. Question 12. Can a site visit be arranged? Answer 12. Yes, at the expense of the contractor. All other terms and conditions remain unchanged.
