Description

This amendment is for Questions and Answers. 1. With respect to the expander head, do you have any additional information concerning the vertical axis guidance support frame? Are there prints available for the product and/or components that are undergoing the vibration testing? The physical size and surfaces which would be guided by the support would be helpful. I assume these surfaces are on the expander head? The only drawings prints available are of the Unholtz Dickie T5000 CSTA configuration and approximate dimensions. Items tested are commercial and military equipment, generally one in. cube to 8 ft. cube dimensions. The guided surfaces are on the expander h ead. 2. Do you have additional detail on the configuration of the pneumatic load support, and its interface with the expander head and support system? The load support operates under the expander head structure with the existing pneumatic support system to provide capability for adjustment of the test item position. The load support support connects directly to the expander head and frame. 3. Am I correct that both the (2) cargo fixtures and (2) head plate fixtures are AZ31B? Yes, the materal requirement is stated in paragraph 4 ( AZ31B material ).
