Description

The purpose of this amendment is to clarify that this is a SOURCES SOUGHT notice for the CONTAINER for the Hydraulic Electric Pneumatic Petroleum Outfit (HEPPO), and to extend the response date. There is no solicitation available at this time. PM-S KOT is seeking POTENTIAL SOURCES who have the capability to provide the container as specified in the below-referenced web-link. A general description is as follows: The container will store heavy duty construction equipment such as 40+ lb pavement breake rs, concrete saws, chain saws, grinders, etc, as well as miscellaneous items that support a new system. The shipping constraints of air transportation and the Primary Mover (M1084 5ton truck) limit the container dimensions. Our intention is to package ou r tools in a container so that we do not protrude above the top of the cab, keeping transport issues to a minimum. Also, to protect the equipment from outer elements (heat, rain, water, sand, etc) while stowed. Quantities are not know at this time, but it is estimated that approximately 1,000/year would be required. Responses mus t include the weight of the container, as well as the maximum weight the container can hold. Estimated price and delivery schedule is also requested.
