Description

The Contracting Center of Excellence (CCE) on behalf of the Office of the Provost Marshal General intends to award a sole source contract to the National Law Enforcement Telecommunication Systems (NLETS) 2930 E. Camelback Road #160, Phoenix, Az 85016 -4497. This is the only communication link to the Criminal Justice Information Systems, Federal Bureau of Investigation at the national level and all law enforcement telecommunications are dispatched using NLETS. Services can only be provided from the or iginal source since this is a follow-on requirement for the continued provision of highly specialized services. This is a computer controlled message switching network linking local, state and Federal law enforcement agencies for the purpose of information exchange. The period of performance will be for twelve (12) months from contract award date. The proposed contract action is for services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302-1, Only One Responsible Source. This notice of intent is not a request for co mpetitive proposals. However, the Government will consider all capability statements received by 14 Feb 2007, 09:00 AM. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
