Description

The Contracting Center of Excellence (CCE) on behalf of the Office of the Army Chief of Chaplains intends to award a sole source contract to the Westin Hilton Head Island/Presentation Services, 2 Grasslawn Ave, Hilton Head Island, South Carolina, 299 28. The proposed contract is for Audio/Visual Professional Services and Equipment. The Westin Resort will provide the audio/visual support and services for the Army Chief of Chaplains Senior Leaders Training. This is the Chief of Chaplains annual training and is presented to 450  500 Senior Leaders from across the Army. Presentation Services is the sole provider of audio visual services at the Westin Resort, Hilton Head Island, SC. Presentation Services maintains an office and the audio visual equipment a t the resort specifically designed to accommodate the conference facilities available at the hotel. The period of performance is 05 -08 March 2007. The proposed contract action is for services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302-1, Only One Responsible Source. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. H owever, the Government will consider all capability statements received by 13 Feb 2007, 3:30 PM. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
