This is a two and a half-day conference. The estimated maximum number of guest rooms per night is 90. The program may consist of a general session on two and a half days for 100; luncheons; a reception; continental breakfasts; refreshment breaks; and possibly a dinner. MANDATORY REQUIREMENTS: The hotel must 1) be compliant with the Hotel and Motel Fire Safety Act of 1990, 15 U.S.C. 2201 et seq, (Public Law 101-391) and hold a FEMA certification number; 2) be compliant with the Americans with Disabilities Act, 42 U.S.C. Section 12101 et seq. (ADA); 3) have one of the following ratings: Moderate Deluxe or higher per the Official Hotel Guide; Four crowns or higher per the Business Travel Planner; or Four diamonds or higher per AAA; and 4) be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database. HOW TO ACQUIRE A COPY OF THE SOLICITATION: The OCC anticipates issuing the solicitation at this web site in February 2007. The solicitation document will contain the conference requirements, the instructions for submitting a quote, and how the quotes will be evaluated. This is NOT a small business set-aside. It is a full and open competition using simplified acquisition procedures. All responsible vendors may submit a quote that will be considered by the OCC. OCC anticipates awarding the contract in March/April 2007.
