- THIS IS A RE-RUN OF SOLICITATION NOTICE #4MA0022 PREVIOUSLY ON MAY 3, 2006. The United States Government seeks to lease office space consisting of approximately 12,951 rentable sq. ft within the downtown area of Springfield, Massachusetts, bounded as follows: Beginning at the Connecticut River travel east on the railroad tracks located immediately north of Gridiron Street, turn south on Spring Street to Pearl Street. Turn east on Pearl Street to Byers Street. Turn south on Byers Street to Myrtle Street to High Street. Turn west on High Street to School Street. Turn south on School Street to Union Street. Turn west on Union Street to the Connecticut River. Turn north and follow the Connecticut River to the point of the beginning. The space should yield between 11,262 to 11,825 ANSI/ BOMA usable sq. ft. Assigned on-site parking is required for 14 vehicles plus 3 potential future vehicles. The space must be contiguous and located on the second floor or higher and must be protected with a fire sprinkler system. The proposed lease is for ten (10) years, five (5) years firm, and should be fully serviced. The offered space must meet Government requirements for Fire Safety and Handicapped Accessibility. The Government does not occupy property located in a Flood Plain. Please submit proof/certification that property is not located in a Flood Plain. Brokers or agents may represent the prospective landlord, but any properties or proposals submitted by brokers/agents must be accompanied by written evidence that they are authorized to represent the building's ownership. Expressions of interest should include all of the following: (1) Building name and address, (2) Rentable square feet and rate per rentable square foot, (3) Method of measurement used to determine rentable square feet, (4) Common Area Factor (s) for available space by floor if applicable.
