Description

DESC: 4933-01-441-5496, Part Number 11580238, The item to procure is a TOOL, RELEASING F/81MM MOTAR BASEPLATE (4933-01-441-5496) IS A CLOSE TOLERANCE MACHINED PART FROM AN ALUMINUM ALLOY CASTING, 356-T6. CARC FINISH IS REQUIRED. Requirements are MI NIMUM ORDER 120EA, TOOL, RELEASING with possible further ordering up to contract maximum of 600ea. FOB is DESTINATION. For use on the 81MM MORTAR. Estimated issue date is 28-FEB-2007. This solicitation will be issued electronically in accordance with FA R 4.502 and 5.102, therefore, hardcopies will not be provided. Vendors wishing an electronic copy may download it on or after the issue date by accessing the following address via the internet: https://aais.ria.army.mil/aais/SOLINFO/index.htm. CAUTION: T his solicitation will be issued electronically as will any amendments thereto. Because of this, the Government is under no obligation and is in fact unable to maintain a bidders mailing list. It is therefore incumbent upon any interested parties to perio dically access the above internet address in order to obtain any amendments which may be issued. Failure to obtain any said amendments and to respond to them prior to the date and time set for bid opening/receipt of proposals may render your bid or propos al nonresponsive and result in the rejection of same. Proposed contract will result in a 3 year Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ)contract. The minimum guaranteed order is 120ea, minimum ordering quantity is 80ea, maximum order quantity is 200ea, and the contract maximum is 600ea. Once the minim um ordering obligation of 120ea is met, the Government has no obligation to order further quantities. Proposed contract is 100% small business set-aside. This solicitation incorporates a Technical Data Package (TDP) that cannot be provided via the internet. Vendors who need this TDP in order to prepare a bid or proposal are instructed to request same by submission of an email request to: tacom-ri-tdp@ria. army.mil. Any said requests should contain the following information; CAGE Code (if available), Company Name, Point of Contact (optional), Street Address, City, State, Zip Code, Telephone Number. A TDP will be provided by normal mail after the solicitat ion has been released to the internet. Note 26 applies.
