Description

ALL REQUEST FOR INFORMATION SHALL BE DIRECTED TO THE FOLLOWING: AMSAM-AC-ML-A, JAMES C. ADAMS, CONTRACTING OFFICER, CASSANDRA HAYWOOD, CONTRACT SPECIALIST, (256) 876-1962, FAX (256) 876-6628, E-MAIL: Cassandra.Haywood@redstone.army.mil **TELEPHONE REQUEST WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED** This effort is for Contractor Operated Depot Level Repair and Return of AMCOM managed supporting assemblies and subassemblies of the IMPROVED BRADLEY ACQUISITION SUBSYSTEM (IBAS), BRADLEY FIGHTING VEHICLE SYSTEM (BFVS). Th e proposed acquisition have a basic requirement (FY07) and three additional option years (FY08  FY10). The RFP will be issued to Raytheon Systems Company, 2501 W. University, P.O. Box 801, McKinney, TX 75070-0801 (vendor code 96214) and DRS Optronics Inc ., 2330 Commerce Park Dr, N.E., Palm Bay, FL 32905 (vendor code 32865). The closing date annotated is an estimated date and may be adjusted dependent upon the date of release of solicitation; however, solicitation will not close prior to the closing date stated above. Foreign Firms are reminded that all requests for solicitation must be processed through their respective embassies. This contract is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only two sources. Suggest that small business firms or others interested in subcontracting opportunities in connection with this procurement, make contact with the above listed firms. A technical data package, which defines all engineering and quality requirements, is not available. All responsible sources may submit a bid, proposal, or quotation, which shall be considered by this agency.
