Description: **THIS IS A REPROCUREMENT OF CONTRACT NO. W912P8-04-C-0001, AND IT IS ISSUED PURSUANT TO FAR 52.249-10, DEFAULT (FIXED-PRICE CONSTRUCTION).**The work consists of clearing and grubbing; mandatory excavation of a drainage canal; providing and excavat ing a mandatory Contractor furnished borrow pit(s) and mandatory excavation of a Government furnished borrow pit; placing uncompacted and compacted embankment; fertilizing, seeding, and mulching; placing surfacing material; constructing access/haul road an d ramps; and other incidental work. Work area contains a recently filled drainage canal which may require special earth moving equipment or special construction considerations. A Request for Proposal will be issued on or about February 16, 2007, and the Proposal Due Date will be on or about March 9, 2007. The estimated value of this work is $25,000,000.00-$100,000,000.00.
