Description

THIS IS NOT A NOTICE OF SOLICITATION ISSUANCE. The Naval Air Sytems Command (NAVAIR), Patuxent River, MD 20670 intends to hold an Industry Day. NAVAIR is looking for sources to design, construct, and integrate a Cargo Ramp Door Seal system for the C-2 aircraft that will increase readiness and lower life cycle costs. An Industry Day will be held on Thursday, 22 February 2007 at 11:00 a.m. in Room 120 of the Frank Knox Building (Building 2189), just south of Gate 1 of the Naval Air Station at Patuxent River, MD 20670 (doors will open at 10:45). An overview of the technical issues will be presented followed by an outline of the propsed acquisition approach. A recess will then be followed by a question and answer session and the opportunity for individual conferences with the presentors. Please bring information for evaluation of capabilites which can be left with the team for review at the Industry Day. Small businesses are encouraged to attend. THIS INDUSTRY DAY IS NOT TO BE CONSTRUED AS A COMMITMENT BY THE GOVERNMENT, NOR WILL THE GOVERNMENT PAY FOR THE INFORMATION SOLICITED OR FOR ANY TRAVEL RELATED EXPENSES.
