Description

The U.S General Services Administration's Federal Technology Service intends to issue a contract to Progress Software, under the authority of FAR 6.302-1, through reference number 4THO21077007. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC)97-14. Only one responsible source and no other services will satisfy agency requirements. This procurement for Progress Software is to provide maintenance support (software patches, updates and upgrades; license protection; technical support) per the attached Bill of Materials. This proposed contract action is for services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under authority of FAR 6.302. This request is not a notice for competitive proposals. Interested parties may identify their interest and capabilities to respond to the requirement. All information should be submitted via email to Ms. Judy Drupiewski at judy.drupiewski@gsa.gov. Responses must be submitted by COB February 26,2007. All information submitted on or before this date will be considered by the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether or not to conduct a competitive procurement.
