Description
This is a solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulation, Part 12. This announcement constitutes a Request for Quotation; proposals are being requested. Solicitation number F3H3A27004A100 is issued as a request for quotation. Funds are currently available. Quotations must be good until Friday, March 30, 2007. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-04. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 485510. The business size standard is $6.0 million. Offutt AFB intends to issue a Request for Quotation (RFQ) for the rental of the following items: (20) 44 passenger buses (or larger) and drivers for the 2007 Offutt AFB Open House/Air Show on 5 and 6 May 2007. Three (3) buses and drivers for the Southroads Mall route for 5 and 6 May, 8:45-6:00pm each day. Four (4) buses and drivers for the Southroads Mall route for 5 and 6 May, 9:30am-6:00pm each day. Five (5) buses and drivers for the Southroads Mall route for 5 and 6 May, 10:30am-6:00pm each day. Three (3) buses and drivers for the Bellevue University parking lot route for 5 and 6 May, 8:45am-6:00pm each day. Five (5) buses and drivers for the Bellevue University parking lot route for 5 and 6 May, 9:30am-6:00pm each day. There will be 2 Routes, one originating from the rear of the Southroads Mall Parking lot, and the other originating for the old K-Mart (now Bellevue University) parking lot off Herman Drive (Bellevue) across for Leopard Lanes. Both routes will run directly to Offutt AFB, NE and return to originating points on a continuous loop once started. Total buses running as of 10:30am each day will be twenty (20). Some buses may be released by the Chief of Vehicle Operations or the work leader, vehicle operations (Mr. Patomson or Mr. Wangberg) prior to 6:00pm, as deemed appropriate. Some buses may be kept past 6:00pm, as deemed appropriate, to ensure all spectators are cleared from the installation. Bus drivers should know each route. Some buses may be re-routed to the other route as necessary, especially at the end of each day as the crowd exits. Contractor must be registered in Central Contractor Registration (CCR) prior to award. If not already registered in CCR, go to WWW.CCR.GOV to register prior to submitting quote. GOVERNMENT INTENDS TO ISSUE ONE (1) CONTRACT BUT RESERVES THE RIGHT TO CONSIDER PARTIAL BIDS. The clause at FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors ?
