Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. . The solicitation number is W912DS-07-T-0008 and is issued as a Request for Quotes (RFQ). This solicitation is being conducted under Simplified Acquisition Procedures specified in Part 13 of the FAR. The associated NAICS Code is 561720 and the small business size standard is 15 million dollars. The provisions and clauses incorporated into this solicitation document are those in effect at the time of publication. Provisions and clause s incorporated by reference have the same force and effect as if they were given in full text. This solicitation is set-aside 100% for small business concerns. All responsible small businesses may submit a quotation, which if timely received, shall be considered. The RFQ will be evaluated based on price with award being made to the lowest responsible offeror. All items pertaining to this solicitation can be seen on the Federal Technical Data Solutions website at www.FedTed s.gov, or the New York District Website at www.nan.usace.army.mil. The following provisions apply to this solicitation: 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors-Commercial, 52.212-2, Evaluation-Commercial Items, shall not apply to this acquisition. Award shal l be based on lowest price. 52-212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications-Commercial Items (the Contractor shall return a completed copy of this provision with its quotation). A copy of this provision may be obtained from http://acquisition.gov/co mp/far/index.html. Additionally, the following clauses also apply to this solicitation: 52.212-4, Contract Terms and conditions-Commercial Items. 52.212-5, Contract terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders-Commercial Items . The DFARS clauses at 252.204-7004, Requires Central Contractor registration, to be awarded this contract, the offeror must be registered in the CCR. The clause at 252.212-7001, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders applicable to Defense acquisitions of commercial items applies to this acquisition.
