- The US Army Corps of Engineers, Philadelphia District intends to initiate a Request for Quote (RFQ) procurement for the Marine Design Center to obtain the required services for hull sandblasting on the MVK Dredge JADWIN. The work is to be performed a t the Ensley Engineer Yard, 2915 Riverport Road, Memphis, Tennessee. The vessel will be dry-docked and available for inspection as of 15 February 2007. Quotes will be reviewed for completeness in satisfying the requirements of the RFQ.?Award will be made t o the offeror whose quote offers the lowest price. This acquisition will be performed using the procurement process prescribed in Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items, of the Federal Acquisition Regulation. RFQ Number W912BU-07-T-0025 will be issued an d available at the FedTeDS website, www.fedteds.gov, on or about 15 February 2007. Hard copies will not be available. No written or fax requests will be accepted. Contractors shall download this RFQ (including drawings) and any amendments from the Internet Web Page at the following address https://www.fedteds.gov on or after the issue date of the RFQ. The official media of distribution for the RFQ is the FedTeDS website. All amendments to this RFQ will be posted to the FedTeDS website at the above address. Hard copies will not be furnished. It is contractor responsibility to monitor the solicitation at http://www.fedbizopps.gov for notification and links to any amendments. Interested contractors must register on the Internet Web Page. If any of the contracto r information changes during the advertisement period, contractors are responsible to make changes to their user profile at the FedTeDS website. Failure to make changes in their user profile may cause for delay in receiving notification of the RFQ and amen dments. Contractors are responsible for printing copies of the RFQ and any amendments. Quotes will be due no later than 22 February 2007 at 2:30 p.m. ET and must be mailed to U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Philadelphia District, Wanamaker Building, Room 643 , 100 Penn Square East, ATTN: William Bailey, Philadelphia, PA 19107. All contractors are required to be registered in the DOD Central Contract Register before award as required by DFARS 204.7300.
