Description

The Naval Air Systems Command intends to award a modification to contract N00019-07-C-0018 for the ALQ-157 A (V)1 with BAE Systems, Ontario, California on a sole source basis for the following efforts: (1) purchase of 158 Air Filter Change Retrofit Kits, (2) 158 Transmitter Handle Kits,and the attendant tooling for these kits. This action is being awarded on a sole source basis to BAE Systems in accordance with FAR 6.302-1. BAE Systems is the only qualified source which possesses the detailed knowledge of the ALQ-157 (V)1 design to allow them to perform these efforts in a timely and cost effective manner. Expressions of interest in subcontracting shall be addressed to Ms. Gail Day of BAE Systems at (909) 447-2255. See numbered notes 22 and 26. The Naval Air Systems Command intends to add the additional requirements which have been identified as the following efforts (numbers continuing from above): (5) Logistics and Technical Support when requested by the Government, (6) development of product baseline for modulator assembly, and (7) Physical Configuration Audit (PCA) in order to verify hardware changes reflect the AN/ALQ-157A(V)1.
