Description

NAICS Code 236220 Commercial and Institutional Building Construction. Size Standard $31.0 million. Estimated price is between $25,000.00 and $100,000.00. Contractor is to furnish all material, labor, equipment, and supervision to purchase and install air bag dock levelers at Building 48 located at the Denver Federal Center, Lakewood, Colorado. Project work includes the following: Provide construction services to replace the three current manual dock levelers; 6 feet wide and 7 feet in length with a pneumatic automatic dock leveler with single-push button activation. Dock leveler shall rise when push-button is pushed and held. When the button is depressed, the fan motor shall inflate the air bag and raise the unit. When the button is released, the unit shall fall to a resting position on the truck bed. All prospective offerors are also required to use the Online Representations and Certifications Application (ORCA) in federal solicitations as a part of the proposal submission. You may access ORCA via the following URL, www.orca.bpn.gov. Potential offerors should refer to the solicitation package regarding instructions involving the use of ORCA. The request for proposal will be available on or about February 27, 2007. A site visit will be held on or about March 6, 2007 at 10:00 a.m. MST at Building 48 Parking Lot. Offers will be due on or about March 21, 2007. GSA is expected to make an award on or about March 27, 2007. The Government does not intend to acquire a commercial item under Part 12 of the FAR. It is the offeror's responsibility to monitor the EPS site at https:\\fedbizopps.gov for the release of any amendments. THIS PROCUREMENT IS SET ASIDE FOR AWARD TO a Service Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business Concern. OFFERS FROM OTHER BUSINESSES INCLUDING LARGE BUSINESS WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED.
