- PSYCHOLOGICAL ASSESSMENT SERVICES, LAS VEGAS, NEVADA. The Department of Energy, National Nuclear Security Administration (DOE/NNSA) has a requirement to obtain Psychological Assessment Services in Las Vegas, NV. This acquisition is 100 percent small business set-aside. The contract type being considered for this award is a firm-fixed price indefinite delivery/requirements type contract. The contract period for all services shall consist of a twelve (12) month base year with four (4) twelve (12) month option periods for renewal. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 621112 with a corresponding qualifying size standard of $9.0 million. Offerors are advised that this requirement may be delayed, canceled, or revised at any time during the solicitation or final award process, and is subject to the availability of funds. The DOE/NNSA, Personnel Security Department (PSD) requires agency sponsored psychological assessments in accordance with Title 10 Code of Federal Regulations (CFR), Part 710, entitled, Criteria and Procedures for Determining Eligibility for Access to Classified Matter or Special Nuclear Material. Contractors shall be board certified psychiatrists or licensed clinical psychologists. The psychiatrist???s or psychologist???s services include, but are not limited to, clinical evaluation or assessment, written opinion, and formal testimony for PSD to use in determining an individual???s eligibility for a DOE/NNSA access authorization/security clearance. The project will be advertised as a request for proposal. Competitive proposals will be evaluated based on the evaluation criteria set forth in the solicitation package. Evaluation by the Government will result in selection of a contractor that represents the best overall value to the Government.
