- Description
- This Modification changes the tentative advertise date to February 15, 2007. The new tentative Bid Opening date is March 20, 2007 PROJECT DETAILS: This project will consist of roadway reconstruction, including the typical section, vertical realignment, drainage, and guardrail on 3.594 kilometers (largest schedule) of roadway for SD PFH 27-1(1), Iron Creek-Spearfish Road in Black Hills National Forest, Lawrence County, South Dakota. Estimated price range is between $4,000,000 and $6,000,000. This project contains two schedules. Principal work items on the largest schedule include: 35 each of drainage structure survey and staking; 1 concrete box culvert layout and control; 10.782 km grade finishing stakes; lump sum contractor testing; 4,100 m of silt fence; 7,000 m3 of watering for dust control; 9.0 ha of clearing and grubbing; 30,500 m3 of roadway excavation; 7,700 m3 of waste; 315 m3 of placed riprap (class 2 and 5); 18,600 tons of aggregate base; 14,600 ton of subbase; 15,800 tons of hot asphalt concrete pavement; 950 tons of asphalt cement grade PG 58-28; 280 m2 reinforced Portland cement concrete pavement; 350 m of 450 mm pipe culvert, corrugated metal; 120 m of 600 mm reinforced concrete pipe culvert; 40 m of 900 mm reinforced concrete pipe culvert; 16 m of 3000 mm span, 1800 mm rise precast reinforced concrete box culvert; 150 m of guardrail system G4; 6.0 ha of hydraulic method mulching; 8,890 m2 of erosion control mat type 2; 4,200 hours of traffic control; along with associated approach road survey and staking; removal of signs, pipe culverts, and fence; pavement markings; and sign installation.
