Description
The 96 Contracting Squadron, 96 CONS/MSCBS at Eglin AFB, Florida intends to solicit and award a Firm-Fixed Price contract for compressors. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; a quotation is being requested, and a written request for quotation will not be issued. This solicitation is issued as Request for Quotation (RFQ) F1T0CW7029A001. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 333912, with small business standard size of 500 employees. Please identify your business size in your response based upon this standard. This requirement is for the following: 1. Removal/demolition of existing equipment. Vendor shall supply personnel to remove existing Ingersoll-Rand model TM400 air dryer to Eglin AFB FL Bldg 130 on site. All existing compressed air piping on inlet side of air receiver tank and existing electrical shall be removed from mechanical room. Existing mist eliminator filter shall be removed from existing piping and kept for inter connection into new compressor system at time of instillation. Condensate lines shall be removed for new equipment placement. Automatic condensate drain on air receiver shall be removed and retrofitted with manual isolation valve for dry tank system. P/N: removal. QTY 1 each 2. Compressor, 25hp to 40hp unit able to sustain 100 or more cfm and a refrigerate dryer. 3. Installation ? Vendor shall supply a turn key installation to include equipment placement, electrical connections and air connections complete. Equipment shall be placed in provided mechanical room for maximum versatility of heat exchanges and system maintenance. Electrical shall be provided to include EMT conduit, supports from steel beam structures. Short circuit breakers shall be provided by the customer and considered existing in main distribution panel. Air piping shall be type EII copper via prepress crimps design compressed air piping. Air compressor shall be plumbed into air headed via a flexible hose connector. Addendum A: system shall maintain a header pressure minimum of 100 PSIG via mains air changing valve regulator. Mains air charging valve shall monitor system pressure while maximizing differential pressure within system capacity. Addendum B: existing main air header ball valve shall be replaced and pipe capped discharging underground to East side of hanger. Addendum C: equipment room shall maintain an ambient temperature range of 90 degrees F. with integral thermostat control provided with motor starter complete. Addendum D: Existing Ingersoll-Rand mist eliminator shall be serviced complete with new filter element and manual isolation valve complete. P/N: install. QTY: 1 each. 4. Air piping, East side of hangar. East side of hangar air piping shall be integrated into existing air system feeding machine shop. All lines shall be new type E11 copper with prepress crimp design. Air piping shall consist of main headed extending down east side hanger wall to include a total of five (5) drops. Main header shall be secured into existing tray overhead. Each drop shall have an isolation valve, quick disconnect and manual drain for a drip leg and secured to hanger wall. Compressed air piping shall be pressure tested and provided complete as an air system. Integrations into new air system shall come from machine shop compressor system. East hanger wall shall be core drilled to allow integration of piping system complete. Contractor shall supply equipment, main lift, etc. P/N: Air Piping. QTY: 1 each.
