Description

*** This is a modification to the previous notice to correct the date of the site orientaion. *** Project No. ZNRE 01-1119, Const Pet Care, Yokota Air Base, Japan. The scope of work for this project includes but is not limited to: Construct a new pet care facility, which consists of office area, care area, enclosed kennels area and covered run area, with the following primary work elements: Construct structural steel columns & beams, sloped and curved roof framing with skylight fixed on the frame in office area and kennel area; Relocate and install existing bath tab from existing facility; Install interior electrical systems (including lighting systems, power outlets feeders for mechanical equipments and panel boards), fire alarm systems, pole air switch, underground primary cables, conduits and pad mounted cubicle transformer; Install empty conduits with pull wire, outlet boxes and blank plates for preparation of communication equipments installation; Install plumbing and HVAC systems; Replace A.C. pavement; Construct new sidewalk, sod, storm line, sewer line, water line, new wire mesh fence. Site orientation is scheduled on 27 Feb 07, from 1000 hrs at 374 CONS Conference room (Bldg 620), Yokota Air Base. All offerors are encouraged to participate in this scheduled tour. Offerors who need escorting shall be at the Supply Gate (Gate No. 5) no later than 0930 hrs. NOTE: THIS SOLICITATION IS INTENDED ONLY FOR LOCAL SOURCES, WHICH NORMALLY RESIDENT, LICENSED AND REGISTERED TO CONDUCT CONSTRUCTION BUSINESS IN JAPAN. OFFERS FROM NON-LOCAL SOURCES WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED UNDER THIS SOLICITATION.
