Description

This justification for other than full and open competition is in accordance with the policies and procedures of FAR 6.3. A description of the supplies or services required to meet the agency's needs - Shaw Modular Tile Carpet. Constellation EW24. Shooting Star. - Shaw Modular Tile Carpet. Tru Colours EW24. Bluestone. - Shaw Modular Tile Carpet. Tru Colours EW24. Grey Metal. - Shaw Modular Tile Carpet. Colr Play EW24. Make a Splash. A demonstration that the proposed contractor's unique qualifications or the nature of the acquisition requires use of the authority cited Intended use: all hallways in the Main Building, 200 Third Street. This product is unique in design. It can be laid in any direction: everything facing the same way or every other tile facing a different direction. There is no need to match. This characteristic is important to us as the Bureau replaces tiles throughout the hallways. The yarn colors of this product coordinate with the existing crash rails throughout the hallways. The Bureau has several different colors of crash rails. While none of these colors are unique by themselves, it was very difficult to find a pattern and color pallet to look good with all of the colors. This product is 90% Solution dyed and therefore will stand well against stains and color fastness. NO SOLICITATION DOCUMENT IS AVAILABLE. Public Debt will consider all affirmative responses received no later than the close of business February 16, 2007 EST. A request for more information or a copy of the solicitation will not be considered an affirmative response.
