- The Chattahoochee-Oconee National Forest has a requirement for a mobile office trailer to be delivered and installed on a prepared site at the Brasstown Ranger District Office grounds in Blairsville, GA. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. The solicitation identified as AG-435H-S-07-0006 is issued as a Request for Quotations using simplified acquisition procedures. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and no written solicitation will be issued. DESCRIPTION OF REQUIREMENT: One (1) eight-person mobile office trailer and its installation by the Supplier/Contractor on prepared site at 1881 Highway 115, Blairsville, GA. 30514. Desired delivery date is May 20, 2007, or sooner. The trailer shall meet the minimum requirements for ADA/ABA including one unisex rest-room with commode, sink, one 110v/20amp GFCI receptacle, and switched overhead light/exhaust fan. Trailer shall have ADA/ABA compliant steps and ramps with handrails. It shall also be plumbed for hot and cold running water (including water heater), sewer hook up, and electrical service entrance panel. 110v/20 duplex receptacles shall be placed 16 inches above finished floor spaced no more that six feet apart. External water, sewer and electrical hook-ups will be done under a separate contract. The trailer shall have standard insulated exterior walls, ceilings, and floors. The trailer shall have wall-switched recessed overhead florescent light fixtures with a minimum of 3 watts per square foot of interior floor space. There shall be no more that 6 lights or receptacles on any circuit. Light fixtures and receptacles shall not share the same circuits. Each exterior door shall have a switched exterior light fixture. The ceiling shall have a height of at least 8 feet above the finished floor. Interior walls shall be finished with a painted sheetrock/gypsum surface, panelling, or wallpaper. The trailer shall be heated and air-conditioned. Trailer unit shall be equipped with utility jacks to support twelve (12) separate workstations. Each workstation shall have jacks for telephones and personal computers. SUBMIT OFFERS: on company letterhead or form, no later than close of business March 8, 2007 to Contracting Division, Chattahoochee-Oconee National Forest, 1755 Cleveland Hwy., Gainesville, GA 30501. Quotes may be FAXed to 770-297-3031. Provide quote with delivery and installation included in price. Offerors may propose more than one product in response to this solicitation. Include product literature, warranty provisions, and proposed delivery date in your offer. Quotes must include a completed copy of clause 52.212-3 Representations and Certifications. Quotes will be evaluated on price, delivery date, and capability of the item to meet the agency need. A fixed price contract will be awarded from this solicitation. Award should be made to successful offeror no later than March 20, 2007. SPECIAL NOTE: In accordance with FAR 213-1(k), prospective awardee shall be registered and active in the CCR database prior to award. As of January 1, 2005, offerors are required to complete Online Represtanttions and Certifications at http://orca.bpn.gov which are identical to FAR 52.212-3 requirements. Either format is acceptable.
