Description
NAICS Code: 541360 THIS IS A COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION FOR COMMERCIAL ITEMS PREPARED IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE FORMAT INCLUDED IN FAR SUBPART 12.6, AS SUPPLEMENTED WITH ADDITIONAL INFORMATION INCLUDED IN THIS NOTICE. THIS ANNOUNCEMENT CONSTITUTES THE ONLY SOLICITATION; PROPOSALS ARE BEING REQUESTED AND A WRITTEN SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ISSUED. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 541360 - Geophysical Surveying and Mapping Services and the small business size standard is $4.5 million dollars. The solicitation number for this procurement is PR-HQ-07-00106, and is a request for quotes from prospective vendors. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-14. It is the intent of the program office to make award to a successful offeror using a tiered, fixed-price Purchase Order. The purpose of this acquisition is to procure aerial and satellite imagery and support services for the EPA's Office of Environmental Information. Further specifications and technical requirements are included in the Statement of Work (SOW) posted on our website at http://www.epa.gov/oam/hpod/index.htm#sources. The period of performance for this procurement is from date of award for one year. All offers shall be submitted in accordance with the following applicable FAR provisions and clauses: 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors-Commerical, 52.212-2, Evaluation - Commercial Items as explained in the SOW, 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions, 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders - Commercial Items. All responsive offerors shall also submit a completed copy of the Offeror Representations and Certifications - Commercial Items as included in the posted RFP. Award will be made to the offeror providing the best value to the Government with all factors other than price being significantly more important than price. Further details regarding the evaluation criteria to be utilized in this procurement are included in the posted SOW. Completed offers shall be submitted to the Contract Specialist, Cara Lynch on, or before 4:00pm on March 9, 2007.
