- Description
- Defense Supply Center Richmond intends to negotiate with responsible and responsive sources of supply for the establishment of an indefinite quantity contract for Inland Technologies part number Skysol, NSN 6850-01-381-4401. Specifications, plans or drawings relating to this procurement described are not available and cannot be furnished by the Government. The resulting contract will have a base period of one year and two, one-year options. The estimated quantity per year is 60 drums. The maximum quantity per year is 90 drums and the guaranteed minimum quantity of 15 drums applies only to the base year. Shipping locations- FOB destination with destination inspection and acceptance to Defense Depot Tracy, CA and Defense Depot Richmond Va. FOB origin, with origin inspection and acceptance pricing will be requested only for Distribution Planning and Management System (DPMS) orders- see DLAD clause 52.247-9011. DPMS allows for Government-owned seavans to be filled at contractor shipping points and the Government bears the expense of shipping. DPMS will apply to shipments to Defense Distribution Depot Europe (DDDE), Defense Distribution Depot Sigonella (DDSI) and Defense Distribution Depot Kuwait (DDKS). Contractor faility must accommodate Seavan on standard trailer body-with wheels. This is an unrestricted acquisition. The final contract award decision may be based upon a combination of price, past peformance, and other evaluation factors as described in the solicitation. See numbered note 22. This is a commercial acquisition.
