- You are invited to submit a budgetary quotation to furnish all or portions of training as outlined in the attached Performance Work Statement. This request is for informational planning purposes only and is important for establishment of a realistic cost estimate. The government does not intend to award a contract on the basis of this solicitation, or otherwise pay for the information solicited except as provided in subsection 31.205-18, bid and proposal (b&p) costs, of the federal acquisition regulation. Identify any factors that would affect the prices quoted, and specify equipment and technical data that would be needed to support training (inclusive of stock number, part number, noun description, T.O. numbers, description of manuals and software). Also, specify whether said items would be Contractor or Government furnished. For performance in overseas areas, please identify logistical and administrative support required for your instructors. Your quotation should arrive at the above address not later than COB, 16 Mar 07 and have a validity period of at least 180 days. This is the minimum time required for processing by HQ USAF and review by the customer country. PERFORMANCE WORK STATEMENT 1. Scope a. Training is required by the USAF in support of a Mexican Air Force (MAF) foreign military sales program. Proposed training will be Type 1 contractor training, procured by Air Education and Training Command (AETC) and presented under the auspices of the Security Assistance Training Program. b. Training shall include, but is not limited to, maintenance and operation of the following sensor equipment: (1) APS-143B(V)3 Radar for nine (9) students. (2) A.D.A.M. VII Computer System for nine (9) students. (3) Star SAFIRE II for nine (9) students. (4) Cellular Interception System for nine (9) students. c. The contractor may propose training in CONUS at the contractor?s training facility using the contractor?s equipment. d. Training can be provided in the English or Spanish language. If provided in English, the contractor shall propose an interpreter as a separate cost. 2. Technical Training a. The contractor shall propose course content and duration of training. The training objective is to provide the MAF trainees with the knowledge and skills necessary to maintain and operate the above listed equipment. b. The contractor shall provide course outlines reflecting course content and duration. Training is desired in Aug/Sep 07. The contractor shall specify the exact dates this training will be available. 3. Training Materials Training materials can be in contractor format. The student will retain all training material provided during course presentation. 4. Prerequisites/Student Support The contractor shall propose quarters for the duration of training to include two days prior to training start and one day after training completion.
